That San Luis Obispo is amazingly pretty and couples love to dance around wooden barrels filled with the red juice of heavenly dreams isn’t that new. But that organic vineyards opened their gates to loving couples and wine country hotels change to greener habits that’s exiting and happened just about yesterday.
The locals love for detail will spin any brides head in a land where even trash containers are vino-fied.
Wolff vineyards is proud of their sustainable practices and invites people with love for nature to hold their special events in the beauty of their property. Rowdies who slam with their cars around corners and suffocate the vines in clouds of dust better stay in LA.
Organic vintners are amazing as they not only relieve us from heavy hangovers but the earth and water from tons of pesticide. But it’s not only Tablas Creek and Pipestone Vinyards in Paso Robles or the boutique winery Klumpp and Domaine Alfred in San Luis Obispo, which make the third biggest wine producing area California’s worth visiting. Eco Awareness is somehow a given here: bikes are parked everywhere, electric scooters wait to be rented, small cafes offer organic choices and remind you of your earth loving duties.

There are several green hotels and businesses who produce and buy local.
To walk around in this small town is like opening a treasure chest: Monterey St. Wine Co. is THE place in San Luis Obispo for fine wines and delicious cheeses. Hopefully you didn’t get high in the coolest organic herb shop “Secret Garden” as you might miss out on Bambi nodding her Thank you that you didn’t roll over her on the lonely road.
You also won’t wanna miss the local artisans.
Seriously interested in checking the magic lands, healthy air and tasty grapes out for your weddings? Call the girls from the wedding gallery or a green planner in LA to set you up. Don’t forget to hire a bus per 60 guests and to buy carbon offsets:)

Viva Polar bears: The English don't like to be lied at by a company that finances disputes of global warming. Eugene Shandu in Daily Green reports: "The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has made a ruling against an ExxonMobil television ad that uses imagery that relates their carbon-emitting power source to wind and solar power and suggests liquefied natural gas (LNG) is super clean."
The discussion is putting big bad Exxon in the news again, the heat is on.
Who will win? The rise of consciousness we hope.
